Discover the Eastern undeveloped side of Koh Chang on a tour taking you from your hotel to heart of the original local people living in Koh Chang. Your first stop off at the view point allowing magnificent views across the sea, marvel at the stretching mangrove forest in all its glory and take in the traditional lifestyles and foods at the fisherman village. Inside the mangrove forest you can enjoy a tranquil ride by traditional wooden boat – (this optional ride is 200 baht per person). After this you will visit the Salakphet temple to take in the heart of Thai Buddist culture and observe the beauty of its hand sculpted statues and architecture.
Discover the Western side of Koh Chang on a tour taking you through its lively character and natural gems. From your hotel you will visit the nature of the Klong Plu with its remarkable waterfall a short trek up into the jungle (entrance here for the National Park is 200baht per person). After this you will frequent the Klong Prao temple- the most popular temple on the island, visited daily by many of the Thai locals. Next on the mountain past Kai Bae you stop at the official Kai Bae Viewpoint and look out upon the surrounding small islands dotted across the calm ocean. Further down the East of the island is the lively Bang Bao Fisherman Village, the market along this pier is well famed and full of traditional Thai hustle and bustle, bring some small money and have fun haggling at the local stalls. As the furthest point your last stop will be the Klong Koy beach where you can take in the natural beauty and spend some time relaxing on the beach, this is the deepest beach on the island so perfect if you want to take a swim.
